so Himank you tagged me to write on “Proposal” . I never wanted to write on such topic ( You know I do not want to indulge into any  kind of controversy but it was Himank )

Before writing anything , let me say about my past ten days …..

—– have been very innovative ( its a pun )

—– lost one precious thing

—– was lucky in someway  ( do not relate with the previous one )

—– enjoyed being with my friends ..

—– enjoyed smoking but did not like the taste

will write about these things in some other post .

This week “Cricket World-cup final “ is going to be held . My favourite team Srilanka ( of course after India) is into the final . On saturday , Srilanka is going to face Australia . 1996 will repeat itself and Jayawardena will raise the “world cup trophy” . So the thrill of watching the world cup final !!! thrill of playing the final against the worlds best team “Australia”!!! thrill of holding the “world cup trophy ” !!!So thrill and sports go side by side …. After reaching the zenith of the invincibility in the past few years , i think this may be the starting of downslide of the great cricketing team … “Australia “.

Now lets talk about innovations … “Computer Vision ” is going under some revolutionary changes .The other day i had chance to listen to Sudipta Sinha . He talked about “Silhouettes for Calibration and reconstruction from multiple views .” It was a thrill watching him describing his new ideas .

So both “Cricket” and “Computer Vision ” is full of thrill and innovations . Anyway the time will tell

what impact these will have on our society . After all science and sports have to evolve to the adapt to the tastes of the people and spectators . Lets hope we get to see some more thrills in “computer vision” and “Cricket” in coming days .

Okay , now let me come back to the topic from where i had started …. “Proposal ” . Many of my friends have all ready written much about it . I have not come across any such situations .

Now lets say i have a girl in my dream . She does exist in reality , but i gaze her ,i look at her , i talk to her but in my dream . So please consider the girl to be not existing in the our ambience .

Charisma without characteristic has no value . Here this girl has both strong characteristics and charisma . Its been two years that i met this girl . Since then she has remained a good friend to me . I loved talking to this girl , loved meeting this girl . Slowly she became more than a friend . Initially i had a crush on her , then i started liking her .

These words of “Nirvana” reflects my feelings for her …

I started liking her , but dont know how !!! Sometime u cant express the reasons why something happened !!!

So here goes the incident , how i proposed her ….

Slowly she spreaded through all over my life , not only when i was awake in the day — slowly and slowly she started penetrating and permeating my being in sleep too … when it became just part of my being , like breathing , like my heartbeat , then , I thought of proposing her . I never feared saying any thing to her . I directly said her …. “I like you , I am in love with You ” . I do not remember her reply . After that she kept coming in my dream for the next ten to fifteen days . She remained a guide to me , an adviser to me . Suddenly she disappeared , she may have some important errand to complete , I do not know .

But I am damn sure she will return one day … So I end with an happy note .

ps : She does not exist in reality . Please do not relate her to any person ..

This first post if from relatively unknown IIITian .

Blogging seems to be a fashion these days and ofcourse i am not aloof from this .

In this post I will mention a bit abt myself and abt my interests . I wont boast of myself . All i can say is that i am very ambitious and egoist person . A bit of arrogance adds ( don know whether adds or subsracts , bt i think ) flavour to my personality . i dont like anybody to intervene into my life style .

As far as my interest goes … in academics i am very much interested in multimedia processing , gpu , virtual reality and algorithmic game theory .

Cricket is a passion . oflate i have started playing computer games . Sometimes i play table tennis also .

and ofcourse i promise to post more very soon .
